Refund policy
Returns, right of withdrawal and refunds
Products purchased on gymnasium-apparel.com are sold by New Point S.p.A., VAT no. IT05689650488, with registered office at Via Salvador Allende 29, 50058 Signa (FI), Italy.
This policy applies to purchases made by consumers on the website gymnasium-apparel.com. The rights set out in this policy are in addition to any other rights granted to consumers under applicable law.
Right of withdrawal
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the products.
In the case of an order consisting of several products delivered separately, the 14-day period starts from the delivery of the last product.
How to exercise the right of withdrawal online
To exercise the right of withdrawal through the online function:
- enter the e-mail address used to place the order;
- enter the verification code received by e-mail;
- select the order and the items for which you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal;
- complete the procedure and confirm your decision.
For items not yet shipped, the cancellation function will be available. For items already shipped or delivered, the return function will be available.
Once your statement has been confirmed, you will receive without undue delay an electronic communication confirming receipt of your request.
Indicating the reason for the return is optional and is not a condition for exercising the right of withdrawal.
The right of withdrawal is deemed to have been exercised within the deadline if the statement is sent before the 14-day period expires.
Withdrawal by e-mail
As an alternative to the online function, you can communicate your decision to withdraw by sending an explicit statement to: support@gymnasium-apparel.com
The communication must include:
- first and last name;
- order number;
- the items concerned;
- the e-mail address used for the order.
There is no need to state the reason for the withdrawal.
Returning the products
Once we have received your withdrawal statement, we will send you an approval e-mail with full instructions for the return.
Products must be returned within 14 days from the date of the approval e-mail. This is a longer period than the legal minimum, under which the 14 days run from the date of the withdrawal communication.

Except in the case of defective, damaged or non-conforming products, the direct costs of returning the goods are borne by the customer.
The customer is responsible for the correct shipment of the parcel until it is delivered. We therefore recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping the shipping receipt until the refund has been made. If the parcel is lost, the burden of proving delivery to our warehouse lies with the customer.
Condition of returned products
The consumer may examine and try on the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way as would be permitted in a physical store.
The customer is liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
Products must be returned:
- complete with original labels and tags still attached;
- complete with any accessories, belts, cases and materials supplied;
- clean, unwashed, unironed, unaltered and free of odours;
- in their original packaging;
- suitably packed to avoid damage in transit.
The absence of the original packaging or labels does not automatically result in the loss of the right of withdrawal. It does, however, lead to a reduction of the amount refunded, in proportion to the diminished value of the product.
As a guideline, and subject to assessment of each individual case:
- missing original tags: reduction starting from 20% of the item price, corresponding to the cost of reconditioning and repackaging;
- missing original packaging or box: reduction starting from 10% of the item price;
- evident signs of use, or an item that has been washed, altered, stained, damaged or has persistent odours: reduction of up to the full price of the item, where the product can no longer be sold.
The amount of any reduction applied will be communicated to you in writing before the refund is made, together with the reason. Products to which a full reduction is applied remain at your disposal and can be sent back to you on request and at your expense within 30 days.
Refunds
When the refund is made
The refund is processed after the return has been received at our warehouse and the condition of the products has been checked.
As required by applicable law, the refund will be made within 14 days from the date on which New Point S.p.A. was informed of the decision to withdraw. New Point S.p.A. reserves the right to withhold the refund until the products have been received or until the customer has provided proof of having shipped them, whichever occurs first.
Checking the condition of the products does not constitute approval of the right of withdrawal; it serves solely to determine any diminished value.
What is refunded
If the right of withdrawal is validly exercised for the entire order, all payments received will be refunded, including the initial standard delivery costs.
In the case of a partial withdrawal, i.e. when only some of the purchased items are returned, only the returned products will be refunded. The initial delivery costs are not refunded, since the shipment would have been made in any case for the items kept.
Any additional costs resulting from the choice of a faster or more expensive delivery method than the standard delivery offered on the website will not be refunded in any case: in such a situation, the amount corresponding to standard delivery is refunded.
Any reductions for diminished value described in the previous section will be deducted from the amount refunded.
How the refund is made
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed with the customer, and at no additional cost to the customer.
The time needed for the credit to become visible may depend on the bank, the card issuer or the payment service provider.
Payments made on the website may appear on your statement as "GYMNASIUM" or a similar description.
Defective, damaged or non-conforming products
The right of withdrawal is separate from the legal guarantee of conformity.
If a product is defective, damaged in transit, incorrect or does not conform to the order, please contact us at: support@gymnasium-apparel.com, quoting the order number and attaching, where possible, photographs of the product and of the defect found.
In cases of defect or non-conformity, the costs of return or replacement will not be charged to the customer, in accordance with applicable law, and no reduction of the refund will apply.
Exchanges
The online return system does not allow you to request an exchange directly.
To receive a different size, colour or item, you need to return the original product and place a new, separate order.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal is excluded in the cases provided for by Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, including, by way of example:
- products made to measure or clearly personalised;
- sealed products which are not suitable for return for hygiene or health protection reasons, where the seal has been removed after delivery;
- products liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- other goods and services for which the law expressly excludes the right of withdrawal.
The exclusion for hygiene reasons does not apply automatically to any opened product, but only to products delivered sealed which, once the seal has been removed, cannot be returned for genuine hygiene or health protection reasons.
